Start Your Practice
Ready to join us in person? We make it simple and welcoming. When you arrive, just come in through the front door, slip off your shoes, and place them in the rack. Feel free to help yourself to a cup of coffee as we prepare to start the session.
When it’s time, we’ll head into the zendo together. You can choose a chair or a cushion, whichever is most comfortable for you. Not sure what to do? No worries—there’s always someone here to answer any questions and guide you if you need help.
Our practice consists of two twenty-minute seated meditation (zazen) periods, with a five-minute walking meditation in between. Sensei is available for dokusan (a one-on-one Q&A) during meditation periods if you'd like personalized guidance or have any questions about your practice.
The hardest part? Simply walking through the door. Once you're here, we’ll take care of everything else. Set your hesitation aside and join us for a morning of peace, presence, and connection.
