How to Savor Your Life | Dōgen’s Tenzo Kyōkun 典座教訓

Designed as guidance for the tenzo, or head cook, Tenzo Kyōkun reveals how each task, no matter how ordinary, can be a path to deep awareness and fulfillment.
Daily emails will complement our weekly gatherings with selected text and commentary from Sensei Michael to enrich your understanding and reflection throughout the week. Participants will also have access to an online discussion group, creating a supportive space to engage actively with the teachings, share insights, and explore the material together.
Whether you’re new to Zen or an experienced practitioner, this class offers practical tools and a rich community experience to deepen your connection to the present moment.
