Suddenly the trappings of the small self seem so trivial when they are seen from the perspective of interconnectedness, that they are simply forgotten.
This is a deep mystery - not only because of the profoundness of the experience when we recognize the interconnectedness of the myriad ten thousand things and reclaim our original true nature - but when we realize it was always right before us. All the groping and fumbling for a light switch when our eyes were just closed the whole time...
