Become a Member

Membership is so much more than a donation. It creates a bond between you and the Zen Center. The Sangha provides strong support for your practice. By becoming a member, you become a steward of the Sangha, thereby entering the community of practitioners committed to supporting all in awakening.

Student members under the special guidance of a Zen Master (Sensei). This has been the traditional path for seekers of the Way for more than 1,500 years. This teacher-student relationship is the foundation of a transformational Zen practice. Patron, Benefactor, and Student memberships all include this special relationship. Zen Studies can take place in-person or online.

One River Zen has several membership levels designed to help you engage with the Center and enrich your practice:
